As our Corporate Giving Specialist, you'll be the connector who brings compassionate companies, community leaders, and animal lovers together to create lasting impact.

If you're a relationship builder, strategic fundraiser, confident networker, and someone who loves creating win-win partnerships, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Do

As the Corporate Giving Specialist, you'll lead HSPPR's Corporate Giving Program, cultivating meaningful relationships with businesses and community partners while helping secure approximately $500,000 annually in sponsorship revenue as part of our $5.5M-$8M+ annual fundraising efforts.

You'll serve as one of HSPPR's ambassadors in the community-sharing our mission, creating sponsorship opportunities, and ensuring every corporate partner feels valued and connected to the lifesaving work they make possible.

Your work will include:
  • Building and managing relationships with corporate sponsors and business partners
  • Prospecting and securing sponsorships for HSPPR's signature fundraising events
  • Creating innovative partnership opportunities that benefit both sponsors and animals
  • Coordinating sponsorship fulfillment and ensuring exceptional donor experiences
  • Stewarding corporate donors through tours, appreciation events, puppygrams, personalized communications, and other memorable experiences
  • Managing third-party fundraising events and business partnerships
  • Representing HSPPR at networking events, community functions, and speaking engagements
  • Tracking sponsorship revenue, retention, and donor engagement using CRM systems
  • Collaborating closely with Development, Events, Communications, Volunteer Services, and Finance teams
  • Helping tell HSPPR's story by sharing photos, success stories, and mission moments with our Philanthropy team

You'll also play an important role supporting our signature fundraising events, including:
  • Fur Ball
  • Pawtoberfest
  • Whisker Brunch
We're Looking For Someone Who...
  • Loves meeting new people and building authentic relationships
  • Is energized by networking and connecting businesses with meaningful causes
  • Has experience in fundraising, sponsorship sales, business development, or corporate partnerships
  • Is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Delivers outstanding customer service and donor stewardship
  • Communicates confidently in writing, one-on-one conversations, and public presentations
  • Enjoys collaborating with others while also working independently
  • Pays close attention to details and follows through on commitments
  • Is excited to be part of an organization making a daily difference for animals and people
Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with CRM or donor management software such as Raiser's Edge or Salesforce preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience with event ticketing or online giving platforms is a plus
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an insurable driving record
Schedule
