Full Job Description
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing and consolidating OZZ Group's external reporting requirements including quarterly and annual financial statements as well as Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A). This includes appropriate vetting of information, development of key timelines and deliverables, communication of key issues with interaction and presentation to the senior finance team, and external stakeholders such as the External Auditors.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement the financial policies, systems, procedures, and controls for the company
• Develop financial policies as required to ensure the Company complies with all areas of IFRS
• Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports
• Prepare the Company's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and MD&A that meet regulatory and IFRS requirements, as well as being responsible for producing various consolidated management reports monthly.
• Assist in the analysis of monthly results.
• Prepare management reports and presentations.
• Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers and other department or regional managers
• Prepare the interpretation and application of complex accounting standards for the Company, including writing and reviewing research papers and working with various business groups to assess underlying issues and facts.
• Be involved in the research and interpretation of new IFRS pronouncements and assess their impact on the organization's financial statements and accounting policies.
• Manage the preparation of reports to regulators
• Manage the external financial audit process
• Other duties as assigned
• In partnership of the FP&A team, preparation of the monthly management reporting package, including analysis and commentary on the company's performance metrics and variance analysis to forecasts and budgets.
• Provide monthly results and business analysis to the various business unit leaders ensuring value- added information is provided to enable execution and agility towards achieving goals and strategic objectives.
• Lead the rolling forecast and budgeting processes and related analysis, including continuously liaising with management to discuss operating results and variances.
• Support the annual strategic business planning process including development of long-range financial plan, preparation of annual operating budgets, and rolling forecast models
• Develop, instrument, and mine the company's financial and non-financial data using the Prophix Platform;
• Take an active role in balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, business modeling and ad-hoc analysis.
• Support equity and debt capital fundraising and related due diligence activities.
• Provide ongoing support to Corporate Development activities, including financial and analytical support.
• Evaluate financial planning systems and continuously assess processes for efficiency and opportunities for enhancement and automation.
• Manage audit and review engagements, inclusive of reviewing document request lists, ensuring delivery of all items on-time and to an established standard of quality.
• Fulfill ad-hoc requests as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in finance and/or Accounting
• Accounting designation (i.e. CPA)
• Several years of advanced and progressive related finance experience (accounting, auditing, budgeting, and financial planning and analysis), ideally in the construction industry, with the ability to take on midlevel responsibilities.
• External reporting experience required, including the preparation of quarterly/annual documents.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Strong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills with the ability to craft and present a compelling story;
