Job DescriptionThe
Corporate Director of Maintenance is primarily responsible for the portfolio-wide support of its Maintenance Directors, its physical plants, and review/approval of capital expenditures.
Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Preventative maintenance
- TELs compliance
- Asset tagging
- Capital needs/projects
- Emergency plan preparation
- Safety manual compliance
- Troubleshooting physical plant issues
- Assisting in the hiring process of new Maintenance Directors
- Working with its development company to follow warranties on new builds
- Handling insurance requests on communities that suffer building issues including water intrusion, power outages, fires, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-site, senior living facilities management experience required
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems-including high voltage-and industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex maintenance projects efficiently.
- Deep understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; experience conducting safety audits is preferred.
