Job Description

The Corporate Director of Maintenance is primarily responsible for the portfolio-wide support of its Maintenance Directors, its physical plants, and review/approval of capital expenditures.

Additional responsibilities include the following:
  • Preventative maintenance
  • TELs compliance
  • Asset tagging
  • Capital needs/projects
  • Emergency plan preparation
  • Safety manual compliance
  • Troubleshooting physical plant issues
  • Assisting in the hiring process of new Maintenance Directors
  • Working with its development company to follow warranties on new builds
  • Handling insurance requests on communities that suffer building issues including water intrusion, power outages, fires, etc.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-site, senior living facilities management experience required
  • Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems-including high voltage-and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex maintenance projects efficiently.
  • Deep understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; experience conducting safety audits is preferred.
