Corporate Attorney (Counsel / Junior Partner Level)

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced corporate attorney at the Counsel or junior partner level to join its growing corporate practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.

This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage a wide range of corporate matters while serving as a trusted advisor to business clients. The position involves a mix of outside general counsel work, transactional matters, and ongoing client advisory responsibilities.

Open to candidates in the Baltimore and Central Maryland Region.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as outside counsel to privately held companies and business owners on day-to-day legal matters
  • Manage corporate transactions from initial structuring through closing
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts and transaction documents
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, entity structuring, and operational legal issues
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support client needs
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, with opportunities to expand an existing practice

Qualifications
  • Approximately 7-12+ years of corporate legal experience
  • Experience handling both transactional work and ongoing corporate advisory matters
  • Ability to independently manage client matters and provide practical legal guidance
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
