Position Summary
The copywriter is a captivating storyteller, an expert communicator and passionate problem solver responsible for all aspects of written marketing and communications. They possess remarkable writing skills, strong conceptual abilities and a solid knowledge of the marketing landscape, especially in the healthcare and medical industry. They are good with words and even better with ideas.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Written Communications

  • Develop all written marketing and advertising communications.

  • Provide strong writing proficiency in a variety of capacities with a devotion to grammatical and material accuracy.

  • Deliver the right message in the most effective way to reach the target consumer at the appropriate time – in both short-form and long-form copy.

  • Write for a wide variety of marketing tactics and communication channels that correspond to the client’s needs as directed by Creative Directors, Design Directors, Sr. Art Directors, and the Executive Creative Director – all while staying true to the brand voice.

  • Monitor projects through all phases of production.

  • Handle multiple assignments effectively at one time and adhere to client budget and time constraints.

  • Proofread all copy for quality assurance.

Concepting and Idea Development

  • Conceptualize and develop creative solutions routinely that effectively communicate the strategic intent of an assignment and solves the client’s business and marketing challenges.

  • Interact with members of the creative team, especially art directors and creative directors, to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned projects(s) and present them to internal team members.

  • Possess solid understanding of the market dynamics and challenges of the medical and higher education categories.

  • Present new ideas to members of the team.

Production and Tactical Execution of Projects

  • Develop and help assemble presentations.

  • Perform other duties as needed
