Are you a high-energy, results-driven pharmaceutical sales professional with a passion for respiratory care and a proven ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive environment?

Job Purpose

GSK is looking to hire a COPD Specialty Sales Representative to join our Respiratory Team. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. This position covers the Ottawa and Kingston territory, and the ideal candidate will reside in or near this territory.

As a COPD Specialty Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK's respiratory portfolio. You will develop meaningful customer relationships, deliver customer-focused solutions, and utilize a multichannel approach to accelerate sales growth. Your ability to demonstrate strong business acumen, communicate scientific information effectively, and manage resources strategically will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, marketing, and other internal partners, to support GSK's mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Previous experience in a highly competitive sales environment - pharmaceutical or otherwise.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Respiratory pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience promoting biologic therapies within a specialty sales environment.
  • Established relationships and knowledge of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across the Ottawa/Kingston territory.

This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements.
