Salary range
The salary range for this position is CAD $32.43 - $46.62 / hour Detailed OverviewThe Coordinator, Parking, Photo Identification & Access Control (PPIAC) is responsible for supporting the PPIAC program for a designated portfolio and/or geographical area including the Fraser Health Authority, Provincial Health Services Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Providence Health Care (collectively, the Organization); provides operational support by reviewing PPIAC transactions at the other health authorities including transfer of accounts; coordinates PPIAC expansion to facilitate the administration, integration and standardization of PPIAC processes, policies and procedures across the Organization. Responsibilities
  • Participates in the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the PPIAC program, policies, rates and procedures for an assigned portfolio and/or designated geographical area of the Organization, in collaboration with the Manager, PPIAC.
  • Supports the day-to-day functions for an assigned portfolio and/or designated geographical area of the Organization's PPIAC program by maintaining parking and access carddistribution controls and related documentation, coordinating the distribution of parking and photo identification cards ensuringcards are accurate and transferred to the appropriate site.
  • Works with the Manager to introduce, update and/or implement new or changed processes, structures and systems for the PPIAC program across the Organization to ensure all sites are operating under a consistent set of guidelines; identifies areas of concern and implements corrective action, as directed by the Manager or designate.
  • Works with assigned staff to respond to PPIACqueries and complaints; escalates issues to the Manageror designate, as required for resolution and/or further clarification.
  • Provides supervision and direction to assigned clerical staff and ensures the smooth functioning of PPIACprocesses by maintaining parking and access card distribution controls, related documentation and coordinating clerical staff schedules.
  • Prepares confidential, financial and legal communications of a sensitive nature including investigations, strategic planning and human resource documents relating to PPIACoperations; works with the Manager to identify, develop and create business cases to support various cost containment or revenue generating initiatives for the Organization for PPIACoperations
  • Selects, coordinates, directs and evaluates designated staffensuring effective performance of their duties; liaises with Employee Experience regarding the application of human resource strategies to PPIAC; participates and/or conducts employee investigations, discipline, terminations and other related activities involving excluded and unionized staff; participates in the development and maintenance of information systems and contractual documentation related to the PPIAC program.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of operating and capital budgets for the designated portfolio by ensuring expenditures are within budgetary allowances; makes recommendations regarding PPIAC operational, financial, audit and organizational priorities by preparing supporting documentation and work plans; coordinates or conducts site inspections and audits in support of service performance and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates administrative duties such as maintaining stationary, procurement processes and office supplies, reviewing and preparing invoices for payment, ensuring maintenance of office equipment, supportingbi-weekly departmental timekeepingand maintaining vacation schedules and attendance management program for designated staff.
  • Supports the design, development and deployment of PPIAC across the Organization; represents the PPIACprogram on internal committees and at stakeholder meetings related toPPIACon behalf of the Organization.
  • Qualifications Education and ExperienceGrade 12, specialized training/education in parking, photo identification and access control and five (5) years' recent, related experience in parking, photo identification and access control for a large institutional or campus environment and/or large complex multi-site organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
