Full Job Description
The Opportunity (Replacement)

Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Corporate Facilities, this role is responsible for effectively administering, supervising, and executing all day-to-day operations, quality assurance, and staff supervision for the assigned Corporate facilities. You will oversee a group of non-unionized full-time and casual staff, providing technical advice and assessing facility needs on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for purchasing equipment, supplies, and services to maintain clean and safe facilities for staff, the public, Caledon Fire, and the Ontario Provincial Police. As the Coordinator, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and schedule building maintenance, including managing complex building automation systems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of service requests, adhering to industry standards.
  • Inspect and ensure completion of building maintenance tasks according to established guidelines.
  • Plan, budget, and supervise capital projects while providing progress reports.
  • Maintain Town-wide security systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supervise, recruit, train, and schedule maintenance staff, providing performance feedback.
  • Work closely with contractors to maintain facility HVAC, plumbing, and emergency systems.
  • Manage confidential information and approve payroll for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and industry guidelines.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a post-secondary diploma in Recreation Facilities/Building Management or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in property management and at least 1-3 years of supervisory experience. Experience in a policing environment would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated customer service excellence, superior mechanical and facility maintenance skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate for Coordinator, Corporate Facilities will be required to work a flexible schedule, including in the office, remotely, and after hours as required.

This position offers a salary range of $89,929.32 to $112,411.65 plus a competitive benefits package.
