As a Controls Technical Specialist I, you will independently and collaboratively support control systems for daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues. You'll provide instrumentation, PLC, and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to plant maintenance staff, engage in control system software and electrical upgrades, and assist with capital project implementations.
- Learn and maintain a working knowledge of Corporate Control System Standards and Guidelines
- Understand the design, programming, and troubleshooting of process instruments, PLCs, and HMIs
- Possess working knowledge of the tools and test equipment used for testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production electrical equipment, instrumentation, and controls
- Maintain electrical drawings and participate in continuing education
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Know and utilize safe work practices for all voltages up to 480VAC and 600VDC
Requirements- High School Diploma / GED equivalent
- 3+ years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or HMI-systems in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments
OR
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline
- 1+ years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or HMI-systems in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments
Salary: $72,483.30 to $97,176.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
