How to Apply: What You'll Do:Job duties: Program and monitor automated systems, industrial control systems, and system components to maximize efficiency of production for fiber cement products. Maintain technical electrical and controls systems project files, determine scope of projects, and oversee project progress. Perform automation hardware upgrades for controls systems. Install new automation and controls equipment, and oversee the startup, ramp up, and full integration into our manufacturing environment. Analyze existing manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements and optimizations for safety, quality, and reliability. Support the network of U.S. manufacturing plants on controls engineering. Collaborate cross-functionally, building relationships with key leaders and individuals in our manufacturing sites.
What You'll Bring:Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field plus 3 years of experience in automation and controls or related. Requires skills and experience to involve:
- Demonstrated understanding of the fiber cement manufacturing process.
- Demonstrated project management capability for complex engineering projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction tasks for electrical and controls projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience with Compact 5000 PLC platform, ControlLogix, Aveva HMI, Historian server/client systems, and Rockwell AutomationEthernet/IP.
- Demonstrated experience with Rockwell Automation Studio-5000, Controlflash Plus, RSLinx, and FactoryTalkLinx.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Add-on profiles (AOP), function block programming, and structured text programming.
- Demonstrated experience in adapting automation design systems to internal design standards and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of device level network design and installation and development of input/output systems.
- Demonstrated experience in automation component review and specification to ensure hardware compatibility within control systems.
- Working knowledge of NFPA-70E Workplace Electrical Safety standard.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and optimizing electrical control systems on continuous production machine systems.
What You'll Receive:As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $92,000 to $115,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
