BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years in a supervisory or management role in accounting/finance.
Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and tax fundamentals.
Familiarity with general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
Oversee general accounting functions including sales and expense recognition, A/R, A/P, payroll, inter-company accounting, general ledger, cash management, reconciliation, financial statement reporting, and balance sheet management.
Direct and manage the accounting department's workload, ensuring invoices, expenses, receivables, and payroll are processed timely and in accordance with company policy.
Help maintain and strengthen internal controls; support documentation and testing efforts and segregation of duties.
Support internal and external audits and help implement resulting recommendations within your areas of responsibility.
Provide technical accounting guidance (US GAAP) across company entities; may include involvement in due diligence for acquisitions/dispositions as needed.
Ensure financial records under your responsibility comply with company policy and US GAAP; review monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
Ensure financial reports comply with policy, US GAAP, and government reporting requirements.
Support year-end close and tax reporting requirements (income, property, sales/use, payroll, and other local taxes).
Evaluate and help improve accounting systems and procedures, recommending changes to increase efficiency.
Help build and develop a strong accounting team capable of meeting department objectives.
Collaborate regularly with Operations, Sales, DC, and Customer Service leaders.
