Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and finance functions for a growing manufacturing company. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to own and improve the close process.
Key Responsibilities - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls
- Oversee cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis
- Partner with operations to improve costing, margins, and efficiency
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and reporting requirements
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
- Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting independently
- Experience improving month-end close processes
- Solid understanding of GAAP
