The Role:OWL Services is looking for a Controller, who has specific experience working within the Construction industry. This role will be based out of our office in Fort Worth, TX.
Responsibilities:Revenue Recognition: o Apply the Percentage of Completion method to recognize revenue accurately.
o Calculate earned revenue based on actual costs incurred versus
total estimated costs.
WIP Reporting: o Prepare monthly Work in Progress reports for all active projects.
o Analyze under-billings and over-billings to manage cash flow risks.
Cost Tracking: o Monitor project budgets, actual labor, and material expenses.
o Identify cost overruns early and report variances to project managers.
o Oversee tracking of labor, materials, and overhead for accurate work-in-progress (WIP) reports.
o Track project costs, labor, and materials against estimated budgets.
Forecasting & Budgeting: o Update estimates at completion (EAC) for ongoing projects.
o Prepare annual budgeting.
o Partner with project managers to build realistic project budgets and review variance reports.
Internal Controls: o Maintain strong financial controls and compliance rules across the company.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Partner with operations and project managers to review project
performance.
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company
accounting policies.

Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
