Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Controller to provide leadership and oversight of the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of Jefferson Healthcare's financial information and supporting sound financial stewardship across the organization.

This position combines technical accounting expertise with strategic leadership. The Controller serves as a trusted financial partner to executive and department leaders, ensuring accurate and timely financial information, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective processes that support organizational decision-making.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting leadership experience required
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Healthcare accounting or hospital finance experience preferred
  • Experience with governmental accounting, Medicare Cost Reports, and external audits preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with leaders, employees, vendors, auditors, financial institutions, government agencies, and other partners
