Job Summary:

We are seeking a Control Systems Team Lead. This person will provide team leadership, resource planning, project planning and budgeting in the Design, development, and enhancement of engine and aftertreatment systems to optimize products and system.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides team leadership, project planning, budgeting, and resource planning in Designing advanced electrical control systems and integrating electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Provides team leadership, project planning, budgeting, and resource planning in Designing and implementing software and procedures to control and enhance electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices performance

  • Providing team leadership, project planning, budgeting, and resource planning in Designing and prototyping mechatronic devices with motors, solenoids, gears, sensors, and springs.

  • Provide resources, budget, and project planning in identifying and addressing areas of product weakness in finished products

Degree Requirement

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Agriculture) or Computer Science curriculum.

  • Advises clients regarding a family of specific products, technologies, or services in a technology domain.

  • Demonstrates basic competence and sound business knowledge regarding specific products, technologies, or services within a domain of technology expertise.

  • Achieves consulting relationship rating of 'professional' by delivering timely, meaningful advice meeting client needs in a narrow set of specific technologies

Project Management: Working Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

  • Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status.

  • Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects.

  • Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.

  • Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.

  • Produces standard project status reports.

Embedded Systems: Extensive Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within.

  • Demonstrates experience with software architecture when embedded systems become complex in scale.

  • Develops embedded system software using compilers, assemblers, and debuggers.

  • Develops embedded systems' prototype to ensure it meets performance and security expectations.

  • Ensures the hardware and software requirements are met while structuring an embedded system.

  • Manages embedded systems ranging from low to high complexity with multiple units and networks.

  • Utilizes various debugging tools to reduce the number of bugs in an embedded system.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
