Contracts Senior Manager

Location: Fort Worth TX

What You Will Be Doing
Contracts Lead for F-35 Production Business Unit. In close collaboration with BU Program and Finance leadership, this role will lead the team responsible for F-35 air vehicle production, obsolescence, and support equipment contract negotiation and management.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Contracts Lead for the F-35 Production Business Unit, providing strategic oversight and leadership across a complex portfolio of production, obsolescence, and support equipment contracts.

- Lead and develop a high-performing contracts team responsible for contract negotiation, administration, execution, and compliance activities.

- Partner closely with Business Unit Program and Finance leadership to support business objectives, contractual strategy, and program execution.

- Direct contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to achieve favorable business outcomes while ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

- Provide guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, terms and conditions, and regulatory compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.

- Oversee the management of contract changes, modifications, and customer requirements to ensure alignment with program commitments and business goals.

- Support business growth initiatives by contributing to proposal development, contract strategy, and customer engagement activities.

- Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes, procedures, and team performance.

- Foster collaboration across Program Management, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and other functional organizations to ensure successful contract execution.

- Communicate contractual status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

You excel at navigating complex negotiations, developing contract strategies, and driving successful business outcomes across large-scale programs.

You bring exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, allowing you to confidently advise senior leadership on contractual matters, manage competing priorities, and mitigate business risks. Your ability to align contracts strategy with program execution and financial objectives makes you a trusted business partner and key contributor to the success of the F-35 Production Business Unit.

Basic Qualifications

Significant experience with USG contracting; FAR and DFARS.

Significant proposal / capture experience.

Significant experience with OEM product production contracting, including production during ongoing product development.

Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $151,200 - $262,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
