Job Title: Contracts Operations Specialist

Job Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Job Description:

This position is responsible for administering contract closeouts, training new employees, analyzing contracts to ensure accuracy of the ERP data, and supporting audits.

Essential Functions:
• Work with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues, secure approvals, analyze the ERP system against customer records, and ensure successful contract closeout
• Serve as the point of contact for the customer during contract closeout of programs
• Train new employees on the ERP systems, CLMS, OMS, repair tool, customer systems, etc.
• Support contract history research, compliance reviews, and supplier MDG account management
• Assist with DCAA, internal, and external audits
• Generate and maintain contract documentation
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Preferred Skills:
• In-depth knowledge and experience with FAR and DFARS and functional knowledge of SAP and/or Peoplesoft input and report generation
• Experience with the administration and closeout of DoW contracts
• Experience effectively interfacing at all levels of company management
• 6+ years of current experience effectively interfacing with Government customers and other customer organizations
• Able to travel as required
• Experience in problem solving through creative solutions drawing from prior experience is preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate via formal letters on complicated and sensitive subjects, possess proper email skills, and possess excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience and ability to manage complex projects or processes
