Role SummaryThe Contracts Manager will oversee a centralized contracts team helping prepare, review, and standardize complex legal contracts, forms, and other documents. This position will collaborate with other legal team members to design, implement, and improve standardized contract and document processes and training contracts team and other employees. This role will also collaborate with counsel to review and update standardized documents. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - CoreCONTRACTS MANAGEMENT FAMILY - CORE
- Leads the planning and implementation of policies and procedures related to contract administration and subcontracting processes.
- Assists counsel in resolution of subcontractor and supplier compliance issues, including insurance compliance issues.
- Oversees the development of project-specific subcontract templates and other project specific legal forms for review and approval by counsel.
- Maintains and administers term sheets for select subcontractors and suppliers as needed. Oversees recording and processing of term sheets
- Leads contracts related training, developing content and information for all employee populations
- Manages and updates legal database of transactions and claims, including opening and closing files, filing documents, and updating status and related information in accordance with best practice standards.
- Assists counsel with discovery and document collection efforts as needed.
- Partners with counsel to lead the preparation and administration of complex or non-routine contracts, including leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, employment, and related matters.
- Provides coaching, training and mentoring to co-workers including Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Contract Specialists.
- Updates contract forms and insurance claim management documents and data as requested.
- Coordinates and participates in national teams to review and improve policies and procedures related to contract, insurance and other risk management compliance issues.
- Coordinates with Project Coordinators, Project Managers and others to confirm and monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance.

Education- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience- 8+ years contract management experience (Required)
Working Environment- Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
- May require periods of travel
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs
