  • Track funding, ceilings, and invoicing while collaborating with finance and program control teams.
  • Draft and administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal infrastructure teams on compliance and contracting processes.
  • Handle multiple priorities while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Full Job Description
The Contracts Administrator supports proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, contract closeout, and customer contract activities to ensure effective contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. This role is an integral part of the program management team, contributing to program success and driving new growth opportunities across the portfolio.

The candidate must have a current Top Secret Clearance.

This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily contract functions to include modification process and logging into system, developing and assigning contract charge numbers, full detailed monthly invoicing review and full monthly expense report review against contract metrics.
  • Performs the full procurement lifecycle, supporting government RFP releases, contract and subcontract execution, administration, and closeout.
  • Prepares contract and subcontract proposal documentation, including source selections, competition and price analyses, and justifications, in accordance with CPSR and internal procedures for various contract types.
  • Tracks funding, ceilings, burn rates, and required actions for contracts and subcontracts; collaborates with program control, finance, and contracts teams for funding updates and invoice resolution.
  • Drafts, administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, team agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Works with internal infrastructure teams (accounting and human resources) on contracting and subcontracting processes, compliance requirements, and assists risk management.
  • Strong, communication, negotiation skills and strategies
  • Works independently with minimal oversight, manages multiple priorities, and maintains high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Skills - Minimum of 8 Years Experience

Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, or a master's degree with at least 6 years of professional experience.
  • An additional 4 or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in contracts, proposals, and business operations management required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.) and proficiency with various contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, and OTA.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required at the time of application.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, with strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with government contractor management ERP systems and project/financial modules required; experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to work closely with operating management and other corporate functions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under deadline pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Certifications (preferred): NCMA CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM
  • Commercial contracting experience considered a plus

Compensation
Compensation at CSCI is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of CSCI's total compensation package.
Salary Range
$110,000 - $160,000/Yr
