Job Description

Chose candidate will work in the F-35 Training and Logistics Market Segment primarily supporting IWTA's (inter-company agreements) with our sister company, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The Contracts Adminstator will support the F-35 T&L Market Segment with proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including Program Management, Finance, Legal, Subcontracts, Business Development, Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting and Compliance to effectively manage the breadth of responsibilities, including capture activities, proposal preparation slash submittal, negotiations and contract terms and related performance obligations. Serve as authorized and powered representative for the company as interface with customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Candidate will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contract obligations and to execute the required actions on time. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract related activities and verify compliance.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Provide contracts administration support, reviewing requirements and assessing contract change impacts.
• Lead and coordinate effort in preparing proposals in response to solicitations.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure proper contract fulfillment through diligent administration.
• Advise leadership and program management on contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
Maintain effective customer contact activities and serve as the Company's authorized representative.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelors degree or higher with 2 or more years of experience

- Contract life cycle experience including proposals,
negotiations, administration, and closeout

- Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts

- Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal
Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition
Regulations Supplement (DFARS)

- Support audits with internal and external
audit teams and agencies

Desired skills

- Prior experience with USG cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis is desired.

- Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA)

- Ability to work independently and Task oriented and attention to detail

- Experience working in a fast paced environment

- Strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

- Basic working understanding and application of government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Positivity and enthusiasm attitude; working collaboratively within teams.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
