Qualifications

• Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement
• Experience in the Mattress/Furniture Manufacturing industry is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio for process mapping
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for layout adjustments
• Proficient with problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, Six Sigma and others

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide projects across multiple sites and teams
• Act as a Sealy Manufacturing Process Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional teams
• Conduct plant assessments and audits, developing action plans for improvement
• Facilitate performance review sessions to strategize local plant improvements
• Identify and standardize best practices for operational efficiency
• Create and maintain Value Stream Maps and flow charts for process improvement
• Prepare and deliver training on Lean topics to various organizational levels
• Communicate updates on projects to management and plant teams
• Travel up to 60% for site assessments and project management
