Join our Operations Team as
Continuous Improvement Specialist/Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist. This role is responsible for driving and managing the Continuous Improvement programs at the Novonesis Franklinton, NC site. You will promote a culture of efficiency in our Go4Excellence program (GO4E) and be a part of a Regional and Global GO4Excellence community, supporting and framing the ways of working in Novonesis operations.
The Role and Your Impact:You will lead the site's continuous improvement efforts by developing Lean capabilities, facilitating strategy deployment, driving value stream improvements, and coaching leaders and teams to achieve breakthrough business results. Serve as a key change agent within the Novonesis Go4Excellence (GO4E) system and support the site's operational excellence journey.
Key Responsibilities Include: - Lead and coach Lean transformation initiatives across production, warehousing, maintenance, and support functions.
- Facilitate structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Drive value stream analysis and value stream mapping activities to improve flow, productivity, quality, and service.
- Support and facilitate strategy deployment processes and monthly business reviews.
- Lead Rapid Improvement Events and cross-functional improvement projects.
- Develop future-state process designs and implementation roadmaps aligned with site priorities.
- Promote Gemba-based leadership and a "learn by doing" culture.
- Mentor leaders and teams on Lean tools, leadership behaviors, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Use data analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Whiteboard to track and communicate results.
What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of continuous improvement (5 years for senior level), operational excellence, manufacturing, or lean leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Change Management.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable business improvements in a process manufacturing environment.
• Experience facilitating leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits - Expected base salary: $105,000 - $135,000 level, dependent on experience
