This position is responsible for leveraging the Winland Excellence Systems to drive performance improvement at one of our critical manufacturing sites. The leader that assumes this highly visible role will have an opportunity to lead meaningful change by building capability in the site's operations teams to unlock capacity and achieve significant cost savings.

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $93k -$138k annually with additional bonus potential

Program Deployment
  • Oversee deployment and reapplication of the Winland Excellence Systems (MOS/Daily Direction Setting, Defect Handling, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Problem Solving, Deep Cleaning, Centerline, Clean Inspect Lubricate, and Health Checks).
  • Integrate digital solutions and platforms into the operating model to eliminate non-value added activity and advance problem solving initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to current standards, while methodically improving the standards based on best practices across the industry.


Build Capability
  • Coach and provide feedback to the sites leadership and hourly teams to advance from compliance to effective execution of the core Winland Excellence Systems.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and support trainings to improve technical capability and problem solving proficiency across the site.


Deliver Cost Savings
  • Oversee the "Cost Savings Initiatives" (CSI's) of the site - building a robust pipeline to attack the top losses, and facilitate, coach, and drive initiatives that can be tracked to the bottom line


Design and implement KPI reporting
  • Lead program reporting activities (KPI tracking, goal setting, impact valuation).
  • Plan and deliver update meetings with senior management to review pain points and develop solutions.
  • Engage with teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
  • Must be willing to travel about 10%
  • 3-5 years prior experience in a role leading the Continuous Improvement program at a manufacturing site.
  • Firm grasp and internalization of Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Experience leveraging various digital platforms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to disagree effectively; considering differing points of view objectively and articulate a recommended path forward to resolve conflicts.
  • Proven presentation and communication skills engaging with multiple levels of an organization (Senior Leadership through Front Line Employees).
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with others.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
