Job Description:

This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs
  • Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
  • Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management

The Specialized Servicing & Fulfillment Operations team is seeking a highly technical and analytically driven individual to join our team as a Consumer Product Strategic Analyst III, supporting advanced analytics and reporting initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs advanced analytics on financial, market, and portfolio data to identify opportunities to improve risk, profitability, and operational performance
  • Owns end-to-end analytical workstreams, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for business partners and senior leadership
  • Identifies and communicates key trends based on economic conditions and portfolio performance, enabling proactive decision-making
  • Partners with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Product, and Operations, to support and influence strategic initiatives and large-scale programs
  • Develops scalable reporting and analytics solutions to support performance monitoring, forecasting, and operational execution


Required Skills:
  • 3+ years financial industry experience
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
  • Understanding of workflow, SLAs, and operational performance metrics


3+ Years of strong hands-on proficiency expected in several of the following:
  • SQL (query optimization, data modeling, controls)
  • Tableau (dashboard development, governance, performance optimization)
  • Alteryx (workflow development, server scheduling, governance)
  • Python (data processing, packaging, testing, reproducibility)
  • PowerQuery
  • Data visualization and storytelling techniques
  • Experience building scalable reporting and analytics solutions
  • Experience supporting centralized reporting environments, data governance, or control frameworks
