About the RoleAs a
Credit Bureau Reporting Consulting Manager, you will make an impact by helping clients strengthen credit reporting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize business processes through configurable workflow and decisioning platforms. You will be a valued member of the consulting team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, compliance teams, operations teams, and technology partners.
In This Role, You Will:- Serve as a subject matter expert for Metro 2 credit bureau reporting, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting to Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
- Provide guidance on consumer credit reporting regulations, including FCRA requirements, dispute management processes, and reporting best practices.
- Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, and operational processes within low-code decisioning and workflow platforms.
- Partner with business, compliance, and technology teams to support audit, remediation, and regulatory initiatives within lending environments.
- Analyze reporting and operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance.

What You Must Have to Be Considered- Deep expertise in Metro 2 credit bureau reporting standards and industry practices.
- Experience reporting consumer loan and payment information to major credit bureaus, including Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), consumer dispute handling, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting compliance, audit, remediation, or operational risk initiatives within banking, lending, credit union, or fintech environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring workflows, decision rules, or operational processes within low-code business platforms or decisioning solutions.
These Will Help You Succeed- Experience with Provenir or similar workflow, decisioning, or business process management platforms.
- Background in banking, consumer lending, credit unions, fintech, or financial services consulting.
- Familiarity with credit reporting operations transformation and process optimization initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable business workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.

Compensation$110,000 - $125,000 annuallyThis position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
