DescriptionThis role is in the Personal Lines Auto Product organization. Our team designs auto product enhancements and evolves our offering strategy across all channels to drive profitable growth. This mission involves partnering with cross-functional groups to improve customer experience and business results, enhance existing offerings, and create new products.

Responsibilities:
- Perform highly complex analyses to evaluate product performance and identify trends and issues, drawing conclusions and making actionable recommendations for areas of improvement or focus.
- Research Auto insurance trends, monitor changes to the Auto product landscape, and identify opporutnities for Product enhancements; this includes advanced competitive intelligence research and partnering with internal research teams.
- Independently manage projects of moderate complexity. Develop subject matter expertise of Auto Product data to support independent project work and teammates with broader analysis.
- Query data to conduct standardized monthly reporting, quarterly strategic monitoring, and ad hoc analysis to answer advanced business questions. Develop, maintain, and enhance reports to ensure consistent and accurate tracking of performance metrics. Assess performance to identify trends, draw conclusions, and drive decision-making.
- Work-cross functionally on alignment around strategic decisions needed.
- Regularly present analysis and insights to cross-functional stakeholders and Auto Product leadership.
- May be assigned to mentor or supervise intern or rotational analysts.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, information management, economics, or other quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years, typically 6 years or more of relevant work experience.
- Knowledgeable in data query languages and tools; proficient in new and emerging technologies; may possess data modeling skills.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of data architectures, solutions and designs; extensive knowledge of business operations, strategies and objectives.
- Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
