The Infusion Consultant role is a pivotal position for highly motivated, driven individuals eager to accelerate their careers in healthcare consulting. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking who are ready to tackle complex challenges and deliver measurable value to clients. Infusion Consultants will work on diverse, high-impact projects across multiple disciplines, providing strategic and operational solutions to a wide range of healthcare organizations.

In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), senior leadership, and cross-functional teams on client engagements. You will gain hands-on experience in strategic problem-solving, client management, and operational execution. Infusion Consultants will also develop strong client-facing capabilities, including presenting to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.

This role emphasizes adaptability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to excel in ambiguous environments. You will learn to ask the right questions, create high-quality deliverables, and rapidly identify areas of value, preparing you for impactful careers in consulting or leadership roles in industry. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, partners, and client teams to deliver high-quality infusion consulting solutions including site design, addressable products, and leakage mitigation strategies.
  • Work directly with customers to execute alternate site strategies including site selection, facility design, clinical workflow creation, and policies and procedures development.
  • Lead portions of client meetings and build trust through clear communication and infusion results-driven insights.
  • Develop high-impact presentations, reports, and dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Create and refine executive messaging frameworks to communicate priorities, risks, opportunities, and recommendations effectively.
  • Address ambiguous problems using structured thinking, consulting frameworks, and hypothesis-driven approaches.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to support infusion business recommendations.
  • Work across matrixed teams to gather information, synthesize perspectives, and ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Support cross-functional teams in preparing for executive meetings, reviews, and strategic checkpoints.
  • Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of major initiatives, such as customer segmentation, operational readiness, and strategy refresh cycles.
  • Conduct due diligence on strategic questions, including customer insights, operational data, and industry trends.
  • Translate data and qualitative findings into insights that elevate leadership decision-making.
  • Maintain a high standard of organization, version control, and proactive communication with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Develop materials for enterprise summits, advisory boards, customer meetings, board presentations, and leadership offsites.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance infusion consulting skills and industry knowledge.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in infusion pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, healthcare distribution, hospital pharmacy operations, or other related field.
  • Additional experience in client services and consulting organizations preferred.
  • Pharm D. preferred, experience working directly in alternate site environments as an operator or advisor.
  • Exposure to the healthcare or distribution industry. Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods.


MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and simplify it into crisp storylines and structured deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with comfort navigating qualitative and quantitative inputs, including experience developing financial models and business case analyses.
  • Knowledge of alternate site infusion operations, including site design, addressable products, clinical workflows, and leakage mitigation strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to message up to senior leaders.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
