The Role at a GlanceWe are excited to bring on a highly motivated Claims Practice Consultant to our Group Claims organization. This position is primarily remote. Candidates located within a commutable distance of a Lincoln office may be required to follow a hybrid work schedule.
Background Details
As a Claims Practice Consultant, you will support ongoing improvements and performance enhancements within the Supplemental Health Claims area. You will collaborate across functions, provide data-driven insights, and offer recommendations to enhance claim processes, service delivery, and operational effectiveness. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support initiatives that drive positive outcomes for both customers and the business. What you'll be doing- You will review complex claims, analyze trends, and identify process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes.
- You will prepare monthly reports summarizing claims statuses, trends, and insights to support leadership decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- You will help translate, communicate, and implement policy, process, and training updates to ensure claims teams understand and apply changes effectively.
- You will improve workflow and operational efficiency within the senior admin space by overseeing processes, monitoring workloads, and streamlining tasks for better productivity.
- You will stay current on industry trends, assess their impact, and partner with internal partners to integrate new practices and improvements.
What we're looking forMust-have experience (Required):
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 3 - 5+ Years Experience in the insurance industry ( individual, group, Life, ADD, STD, LTD, Dental, HMO/PPO, customer support, claims) (Required)
- 3 - 5+ Years Experience with Disability claims practices (Required)

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
