The Construction Supervisor - Civil is a career-advancing opportunity for experienced civil construction professionals ready to lead complex, large-scale infrastructure projects that power next-generation data centers. In this role, you'll oversee critical site work-including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, paving, and underground utilities-forming the backbone of high-performance, renewable-powered compute facilities. You'll lead crews in the field, collaborate across disciplines, and solve real-time construction challenges while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to exacting standards. Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years as a supervisor on data center or high-tech industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, including concrete, grading, paving, and underground utilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project, MS Office Suite)

Other important requirements:
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
  • Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
  • Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.


Job responsibilities

  • Supervise daily civil construction activities including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, and site utilities, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedule and specifications.
  • Monitor and mentor subcontractors ensuring productivity and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor work progress and quality, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Address deficiencies promptly. Ensure duties are performed safely and in compliance with all Company, Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with construction managers, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues, provide progress updates, and align on project goals.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders to track progress and support project reporting.
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges such as weather delays, design conflicts, or labor shortages to keep the project on track.

Compensation
  • The expected hourly range for this role is $52.50 USD .
    • Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.
  • Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
  • 15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
  • Overtime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week
  • Relocation and Living-out-allowance (as applicable and based on successful candidate circumstances)
