The purpose of the Superintendent position is to support industrial construction projects and teams within a refinery setting, ensuring the achievement of established client and internal strategic business objectives. Key project delivery focus areas include safety stewardship, scope, budget, schedule, and quality and risk management. What you'll do:
- Support general construction within an industrial setting. These projects are within industrial sites that include planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Attend Weekly project progress meetings
- Walk down MOP's for all units
- Help guide team for installation if there are questions
- Confirm installations are complete
- Review commissioning sheets and help develop any punch list items for the units confirm forms in Procore are handed over
- Help schedule work with the site contacts using construction schedule. Ensure installation schedule on track
- Provide daily verbal or written report of the work progress / any issues or concerns / any safety related concerns
- Take photos and upload to Procore
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) or five years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a superintendent role in industrial construction projects.
- Experience in oil and gas or similar industry with strong safety programs preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required
- Good computer skills
