Construction Superintendent at Midtown CommonsGorman & Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for Midtown Lofts, a transformative two-phase affordable multifamily housing development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and successful project delivery. What You'll Do- Lead all field operations from project startup through project closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and construction sequencing
- Drive project schedules in partnership with the Project Manager to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain the highest standards of jobsite safety, quality, and organization
- Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and installation details to ensure compliance
- Serve as the primary on-site representative for subcontractors, inspectors, and ownership teams
- Manage project documentation, daily logs, punch lists, and turnover activities
What You'll Bring- 5+ years of construction superintendent experience, preferably in multifamily, affordable housing, or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and project scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed for project responsibilities
