Job Details
Position: Construction Site Supervisor (NOC 72014)
Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $40.00-42.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 7030 Temple Dr NE, Calgary, Alberta, T1Y 4E5

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction helpers and subcontractors on residential and commercial projects.
-Prepare work schedules and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide daily construction activities.
-Estimate costs, and assist in preparing project budgets.
-Monitor material usage and spending to ensure cost control throughout the projects
- Manage materials, supplies, and equipment as needed for each phase of the project.
-Inspect work progress, identify issues, and provide solutions to maintain quality standards.
-Prepare reports and maintain daily logs.
-Assist in hiring, training and mentoring new staff on proper construction techniques and safety practices.
-Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and building codes.
-Other duties as directed by the business owner

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
-College diploma
-2-3 years of experience in construction
-Previous supervisory experience is an asset
-Physical capability of performing duties
-Well organized, team leadership, client-focused
-Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills
-Valid driver's license and Own vehicle

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
-Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
-Weigh handling up to 23kg (50 lbs)
