Construction Safety Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards.
We are looking for a
self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional with excellent communication and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements.
- Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
- Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs).
- Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
- Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.
Minimum Qualifications:- 5+ years of continuous experience in construction safety management.
- OSHA 510 is mandatory, preferred CHST.
- Strong background in large facility or data center builds.
- Report to and/or coordinate with the owner or client onsite HSE professional representative by communicating effectively.
- Exceptional communication - written & verbally.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
- Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
