We are looking for a candidate:
With a strong background in project management and a desire to work in a TEAM environment with support and input from multiple angles that values safety above all else.
With the ability to prioritize, schedule, and logistically manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Who will collaborate with the team to facilitate new building construction/renovation projects.
The Project Manager Responsibilities:
Identify and manage the project risks.
Collaborate with engineers, and architects to determine the specifications of the project
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Oversee the work of contractors, laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
Embed a strong safety culture in the project team, contractors and workers on site.
Follow up on projects to ensure proper execution.
Prepare and implement progress reports on projects.
Commission and Handover Projects
Follow up on punch lists to verify projects are completed and coordinated with all stakeholders.
Process Pay Applications and Invoices
Build and update project construction schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial project management.
Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the wire manufacturing industry is a plus
Project Management certifications.
Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to facilities management as well a life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
