Full Job Description
Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple federal Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects out of our Oklahoma City office. The Project Manager will lead project planning, estimating, design coordination, procurement, budget management, scheduling, and client communication throughout all phases of construction.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between DNI and the Government.
  • Lead all operational aspects of assigned projects, including cost, schedule, technical performance, personnel management, subcontractor oversight, safety, and contract compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to support project execution and competitive pricing.
  • Perform in-house quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost
  • Develop, maintain, and update cost-loaded Critical Path Method schedules in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate regularly with onsite field personnel regarding project status, work progress, upcoming activities, and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms throughout the design and construction phases of Design-Build projects.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify operational issues, and work with clients to resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, project specifications, company policies, and corporate values.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project financials, estimates, schedules, safety performance, staffing, contract execution, deliverables, and risk management activities.
  • Maintain responsibility for project profit and loss performance.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and resources necessary to achieve project objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, compliance, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Safety Programs and Accident Prevention Plans in accordance with Federal contract requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure all business activities are conducted ethically, legally, and in compliance with applicable regulations, contract requirements, and corporate procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Mandatory:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role managing vertical and horizontal construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Design-Build and/or Design-Bid-Build construction projects.
  • Experience developing cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, project schedules, and subcontractor management plans.
  • Skill in the use of MS Office Systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to successfully pass required background investigations and/or drug screenings.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with suitable driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel between project sites as required.


Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a construction, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in construction project management, including federal or military construction projects.
  • Experience utilizing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Resident Management System (RMS).
  • Proficiency with construction estimating software and databases, including RSMeans Online, e4Clicks, Gordian, and similar estimating platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, and other electronic document management tools.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and updating cost-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and reports utilizing Primavera P6 in accordance with U.S. Air Force and USACE requirements.
  • Experience managing federal, Department of Defense (DoD), or military construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and federal construction contracting procedures.
  • Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.
  • Approximately 10% - 15% travel is anticipated.


DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS:

Current USACE QCM Certification, Certified Safety Professional, 24-Hour Fall Protection Certification, First Aide/CPR Certification, Primavera P6 Training Certification, PMP Certification, Competent Person Training Certificate.
