Full Job Description
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (PM) to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through close-out. The PM will be responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across planning, permitting, construction, and close-out stages.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design and scope alignment.
  • Lead weekly construction meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
  • Review and approve contracts, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control.
  • Manage RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise in the field or with stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes, contracts, and local building codes.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
