Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) is seeking a
Construction Project Manager to support the ongoing improvement, reliability, and expansion of our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This role will play a key part in assessing facility infrastructure, developing long-term improvement plans, and leading major maintenance and capital projects from concept through completion.
As the
Construction Project Manager you will evaluate the condition and operational needs of CCM facilities and develop comprehensive plans to maintain and improve site capabilities. You'll define project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and funding requirements while working closely with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Finance, HR, R&D, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
You'll lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including developing funding requests, managing schedules and budgets, coordinating project teams, communicating with stakeholders, overseeing execution, and completing project closeout. You'll also maintain facility and project databases and documentation to ensure CCM has accurate, accessible information to support future planning and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess CCM manufacturing and warehouse facilities to identify infrastructure, maintenance, and operational needs
- Develop short- and long-term facility improvement plans, including scope, cost estimates, schedules, resources, and funding requirements
- Lead major maintenance and capital projects using established project-management practices
- Prepare capital funding requests and support business-case development
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, architects, engineering consultants, vendors, and government agencies
- Support building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, piping, communications, security, and fire protection
- Ensure projects align with applicable building codes, OSHA, EPA, NPDES, FM Global, NFPA, and local requirements
- Track project budgets, schedules, documentation, and closeout activities
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, facilities, or a related technical environment
- Strong construction and project-management experience
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while driving initiatives through completion
- AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience preferred
