Job DescriptionOverview
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas,TX .
Your role
- Analyzes client needs and assists contractor in interpretation of plans and specifications.
- Prepares change orders and/or supplemental agreements and updates project plans.
- Monitors construction progress and maintains daily records.
- Monitors and records material quantities and construction results.
- Reviews shop drawings, schedules, permits, and progress charts.
- Prepares final estimate package which includes final plans, construction documents and
- Detailed calculations of costs and pay items.
- Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary
- Experience working with TXDOT is preferred.
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent, plus seven years’ experience
- With Associated degree, fifteen years of related experience.
- Experience in CPM scheduling techniques.
- TXDOT experience preferred.
- PE Required
