This position is intended for someone with hands-on experience in construction project management, project controls, engineering, or field operations-not a traditional accountant. • Track customer and subcontractor change orders through identification, pricing, approval, billing, and closeout.
  • Monitor project schedules and understand the cost impact of schedule changes, delays, and acceleration.
  • Track procurement of major equipment and long-lead materials to identify schedule or cost risks.
  • Monitor commissioning progress, milestone completion, turnover activities, and project closeout readiness.
  • Support customer milestone billing, progress billings, and revenue recognition by ensuring project information is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain project KPI reporting including budget vs. actual, forecast final cost, committed costs, gross margin, change order status, procurement status, cash flow, and schedule health.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and work with Project Managers to develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintain risk and opportunity registers and ensure financial impacts are reflected in project forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, AP, AR, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across project activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project controls, forecasting methodologies, reporting tools, and best practices.
