This position lets you work with buildings, site upgrades, and essential systems that keep operations running smoothly across the region. You will be part of a team that values responsibility, teamwork, and strong leadership in managing important public assets.
DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis role focuses on managing facility assets, overseeing construction projects, and supporting safe operations across a wide range of district buildings and sites. As a Construction Project Administrator 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Oversight: Manage building conditions, grounds, and infrastructure across district offices, garages, and stockpile sites
- Emergency Response: Coordinate actions during facility emergencies to ensure safety, stabilization, and timely reopening of buildings
- Project Management: Guide planning, design, and construction activities and review proposals, budgets, and progress reports
- Technical Support: Assist staff with specifications, contract details, and maintenance requirements for building systems
- Safety Coordination: Support safety standards, inspection practices, and corrective actions related to contractors and facility operations
- Stakeholder Communication: Work with managers, contractors, and agencies to share updates, resolve issues, and complete agreements and reports

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; or
- Two years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; and a bachelor's degree in construction technology, architecture, building science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, building automation systems, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities.
Special Requirements:- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
