Construction Planner

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring project efficiency and effectiveness through meticulous planning and scheduling of construction activities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in industrial projects, particularly in heavy industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, outlining key milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

Scheduling:
- Create and update detailed construction schedules using software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as necessary to ensure timely completion.

Resource Management:
- Coordinate with procurement and staffing teams to ensure availability of materials and labor.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Cost Management:
- Assist in budget development and cost estimation processes.
- Track project expenditures and report on financial performance against budget.

Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update project plans accordingly.

Stakeholder Communication:
