Schneider Electric is looking for a Construction Manager in the Las Vegas, NV area.
The individual in this role has 10+ years of experience in this industry and a minimum of 3 years in a non-managerial role,
leading activity of other project team members on-site, or direct management of employees in a prior managerial role. They already possess the knowledge of advanced understanding of HVAC as well as Safety and Commissioning processes and best practices. Individuals demonstrate excellent customer service and leadership skills.
As a supporting manager, will interview, train, mentor, and evaluate operations personnel or make related recommendations. Responsible for the administration of company policies including safety, utilization, tools, and training/development.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?- Establish training plans for all Technician employees and encourage them to keep their training up to date
- Perform regular site visits and 1:1 meeting with Service and Construction Technicians
- Find opportunities to interact with customers to assess how team is performing, incorporate feedback into department
- Contribute to departmental or branch strategic planning around on-site execution
- Ensure Technicians are properly equipped with tools and safety PPE required to perform their responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Technicians through daily construction and commissioning questions and share best practices
- Stay informed of new developments in field tools and technology and apply them to projects or business processes
- Propagate new installation, safety, and commissioning ideas within department/branch
- Drive the process of proper documentation and consistency within all departments
- Lead quality control activity for the branch
- Manage key performance indicators/measures for feedback to the Operations Managers

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
