GFT is seeking a ConstructionManager to join our Construction Services Team in Raliegh, NC! This role requires regular attendance at our Raleighoffice.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
  • Prepares and monitors project schedules.
  • Performs periodic construction observation and inspection.
  • Possesses basic surveying interpretation skills.
  • Prepares reports and correspondence.
  • Prepares and checks quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
  • Prepares construction payment applications.
  • Negotiates and prepares construction change orders.
  • Reviews submittals and other technical data.
  • Proficient with construction management software for document management and scheduling.
  • Performs constructibilityreviews and value engineering studies.
  • Assists with Risk Management assessments.
  • Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.

What you will bring to our firm:

  • BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
  • 10-hour OSHA Safety course.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Must possess a drivers license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Compensation:The salary range for this role is $50/hour - $75/hour. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits: Hybrid (in-person and remote) work environment.
