Full Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors etc. to develop the specifications of the project - Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements - Work with Contractor to obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities - Determine needed resources (Furniture, AV, Flooring, Finishes etc…) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations - Plan and monitor progress of all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met - Hire contractors, staff and allocate responsibilities. - Supervise the work of GC, Tradesmen & installers while providing guidance when needed. - Evaluate progress, prepare detailed reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders - Meet all required timelines for work assigned while regularly updating systems as work progresses - Ensure adherence to all health, safety standards while reporting issues to appropriate parties - Work with the internal support team (IT, Marketing, Operations, etc..) so that key target dates are met successfully. - Partner with key Leaders to ensure HearingLife Team Members understand the work being done, their responsibilities and clinic awareness. - Job description is not intended to include an inclusive list of responsibilities. - Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Qualifications
Experience and Key Competencies: - Proven experience as construction project manager - In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles - Highly proficient with one or more computer visualization tools (CAD, Visio, etc.) - Familiarity with HIPAA, ADA, health and safety standards - Working knowledge of MS Office - Familiarity with construction/ project management software - Outstanding communication and negotiation skills - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - A team player with leadership abilities - Required 10+ years construction project management - PMP or equivalent certification or work experience will be an advantage Physical Demands & Work Environment: - Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking - Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. - Ability to lift and/or moving items up to 55 pounds including but not limited to move kegs that weigh up to 170 pounds. Travel:May require travel up to 75% throughout the market. Target Salary: 80-90k Plus Bonus
