Full Job Description
Keville Enterprises Inc., an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm, is seeking a full-time qualified construction manager to perform construction oversight and inspection services on linear water and wastewater projects on Cape Cod and in southeastern Massachusetts. Duties: Areas of focus will be: representing the project owner in daily oversight of construction activities; coordinating the activities of owner, designer, construction contractor, public utility, and third party/abutter personnel; monitoring and advising the owner on project budget and schedule status; analyzing, estimating, and negotiating potential change orders and claims; contract administration; identifying and resolving construction problems and challenges in the field; inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications; reporting daily progress; tracking and documenting quantities of work performed; and other oversight and reporting responsibilities as assigned. Candidates shall have experience in water and wastewater pipeline systems and materials, construction means and methods, and documentation control. Must have strong communication skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and proficiency in performing quantity takeoffs/calculations.

Qualifications: Experience in managing, inspecting, testing, and coordinating wastewater/water pipeline systems is a must. Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software. Must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player. A minimum of three years of experience in water/wastewater pipeline systems or a relevant construction field is required, with two years in a field construction management capacity. Any of the following Professional certifications are strongly preferred: PE, CCM, MA CSL, EIT, CMIT, CACM; NICET; NETTCP; ACI; NACE; AWS/CWI. Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associates Degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.

Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy.

OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.

Daily on-site presence is required, with occasional evening or weekend work during critical project phases or to meet project deadlines.
