In this role, you'll report directly to Apache's Construction Foreman, providing hands-on oversight for project planning, supervision, and execution. You'll manage field activities across multiple locations, including Big Spring, San Angelo, Rankin, Pecos, and Mentone, ensuring everything is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest safety standards.
Required Skills:
- Over 10 years of construction, inspection, or site supervision experience
- Strong knowledge of surface equipment diagnostics and startup/commissioning
- Proficiency in safety regulations including OSHA, API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, and NACE standards
- Ability to develop, review, and oversee safe work practices and hazard analyses
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and TEAMS
- Experience verifying contractor procedures, deliveries, and work quality
- Capable of preparing detailed progress reports and documentation
- Skilled at incident investigation and root cause analysis
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Apache Facility Construction Standards
- Experience with pre-construction evaluations, bid walks, and IFC package reviews
- Previous experience in field safety management and incident prevention
- Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant technical or construction-related education highly desirable
- Extensive hands-on experience in industrial or facility construction within the oil and gas sector
Other Requirements:
- Availability for travel to field locations within the Permian region, including Big Spring, San Angelo, Rankin, Pecos, Mentone, and surrounding areas
- Valid driver's license; ability to operate company trucks
- Ability to work M-F with flexibility based on project needs
- Competitive pay rate of $60-65/hour, with reimbursement for mileage at federal rates
