Project Overview:Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics.
Job Summary:In this role, you will liaise between engineering and field operations and provide guidance on executing constructability plans. You will lead other Construction Coordinators, construction design decisions, interdisciplinary reviews, and project staffing.
You will monitor Construction Coordinators and construction performance and review deliverables. You will use your expertise to improve Bechtel's existing construction methods by initiating project assessments and implementing improvements.
This position is designated as part-time telework, per our global telework policy, and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-CL1
Major Responsibilities:- Develops and delivers the Constructability awareness training and/or enterprise or project supervisory and technical training
- Maintains/develops enterprise-wide processes and procedures
- Coordinates with projects to implement Quality Management System
- Sponsor and develop enterprise applications and initiatives
- Advise and contribute to proposal efforts
Education and Experience Requirements:- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:- Thorough knowledge of a specific construction engineering discipline gained through a combination of related education and construction experience.
- Broad-based knowledge of the function and interrelationships of field construction entities and operations.
- Knowledge of Bechtel Construction Standard Work Process Procedures.
- Understands and applies the requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety and Health handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes to area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of current industry standards.
- Skills to support, develop and monitor other subordinates.
