Goldin is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing market-and have a lot of fun doing it. We are seeking a candidate specializing in Sports Collectibles. The Consignment Manager is responsible for sourcing high end Sports Collectibles, placing them into auction and handling communications from beginning of sale to end. A strong knowledge of the subject matter is required. High end sales experience and/or prior Sports Collectibles work related experience is a plus. What you will accomplish:- Grows a book of business and meets quarterly goals
- Review leads, create opportunities and initiates contracts in Salesforce and Juro as part of the sales lifecycle
- Evaluates a wide range of collectibles across categories, with deep knowledge in a specific category
- Authenticates items (ability to identify counterfeit vs. authentic items) to filter out items inappropriate for consignment
- Works with other consignment directors to estimate value of consigned inventory and set starting price, auction placement, which auction, etc.
- Communicates with potential consignors through phone, email and social media
- Travels to consignors to review and/or pick up inventory
- Attends trade shows on behalf of Goldin
- Kicks off operational processes for consigned inventory and ensures items are managed in alignment with consignor expectations
- Determine authentication approach, work with authentication team to execute and keep consignor informed throughout
- Partner with Content team to promote items during an auction and communicate records post auction
- Understand current events, industry trends, the hobby, competition and use that to optimize price realization for their consignors
- Provides "white glove service" end-to-end for consignors
- Offers advice to consignors to help them maximize price realization
- Reviews auctions and follows up to ensure their products are placed in the correct auctions with the correct titles, opening bids, authentication and descriptions
What you will bring:- Demonstrated expertise and passion for Sports Collectibles, including at least 4 years of experience in the broader hobby or collectibles industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in verbal and written formats for client and team engagement
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, email, and industry-standard digital tools
- Proven ability to identify authentic and counterfeit collectibles, ensuring accuracy and integrity in consignment
- Ability to travel regularly for trade shows (including international)
- Ability to travel regularly to meet consignors
- Bachelor's degree preferred; open to candidates with equivalent experience or alternative qualifications that support success in this role

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
