Job Description:GliaCell is seeking a
Configuration Manager on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems. Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
- Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures.
- Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system.
- Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
- Perform change control and configuration audits.
Key Requirements:To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Requires a CI Poly within the past 5 years.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Eight (8) years' experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).
- If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity is required.
Key Skills:- Responsible for SW Configuration Management of third-party OEM and USG HPC software stacks and firmware using GitLab.
- Manage the execution of all review boards, managing change requests and defects from creation to completion; making sure code changes are implemented into the software code following configuration management processes. Ability to understand and communicate change requests and issues to the boards.
- Create and maintain configuration baselines across multiple systems in multiple locations
- Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental system. Implement version control processes, policies, and procedures. Work with software teams to maintain, validate, and audit processes and procedures in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and software integration framework.
- The candidate must have the ability to become a certified Data Transfer Agent (DTA)
Location: Maryland
Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects.
