Full Job Description
Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

You will be the Data Manager for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Data Control Group. Our team safeguards the flow of contract driven data, ensuring every requirement in the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) is met on time, with flawless documentation, and in full compliance with customer and configuration management policies.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Data Manager you will be the central hub for all CDRL related activities. You'll partner with engineers, quality specialists, subcontractors, and program leaders to translate contract language into actionable data delivery plans, keep those plans on track, and report status to senior leadership and the customer.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing the CDRL for contract and task level compatibility and resolving conflicts before they become schedule risks.
• authoring and maintaining clear, repeatable processes and procedures that govern data requirement establishment and compliance.
• Loading every required submittal into the CDRL tracking tool and keeping the program wide CDRL submittal website current.
• Issuing 30 /60 /90 day data delivery schedules and adjusting them as the contract schedule evolves.
• Maintaining accurate CDRL metrics, generating concise status reports, and presenting them to management and the customer.
• Coordinating with IPT members and data owners to secure timely CDRL submissions and approvals.
• Verifying enclosure data against Data Item Descriptions and contract specifications for final compliance.
• Drafting submittal letters, routing them through the signature cycle, and posting approved data to the CDRL website.
• Tracking all pending CDRL approvals through to closure.
• Reviewing, releasing, and curating both informally and formally controlled documents within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) repository.

Basic Qualifications

- Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation and ability to get Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.
- Experience in reading engineering drawings and documentation.
- Proven ability in processing CDRLs in accordance with the Contract, SOW, and 1423s in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards.
- Ability to ensure that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)
-Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.
-Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
-Bachelors or Master's Degree from an accredited university .
-Must have at least 3 years of experience with Bachelor's Degree

- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers.
- Experience with CM of hardware/software.
- Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts of a Missile program.
- Experience with Product Data Management tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
- Programming experience with Access databases.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
